At Allure Dental Spa, we are pleased to have Dr. Vani Pavan as part of our dental care team. Dr. Vani Pavan, being internationally trained, was accepted into the distinguished SJM Dental Hospital at Kuvempu University, in India. At SJM Dental Hospital Dr. Pavan received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2001.
In furthering her pursuit for advanced training Dr. Vani Pavan completed a three year Residency Program at the University of Pennsylvania in the Specialty of Periodontics.
At the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Pavan, acquired and perfected her skills through a variety of extensive and complex surgical techniques including osseous surgeries, crown lengthening, extraction and socket preservations, mucogingival procedures for esthetic purposes, guided tissue regeneration, advanced guided bone regeneration, and implantology.
To better serve her patients, Dr. Pavan also became trained in advanced Lateral wall and internal sinus elevation procedures. In addition, Dr. Pavan is also certified in the Picasso soft tissue diode laser.
Dr. Pavan continually seeks to advance her knowledge through evidence based dental science to better care for her patients. Specifically, she has worked in the Research Diabetic wound healing project at the University of Pennsylvania. In conjuction, Dr. Pavan is also involved in a research funded study for the National Institute of Health.
Currently, Dr. Pavan is an active member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Forth Worth Dental Society, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
